Use these videos to teach professions or even the use of WHO/THAT
The first video is performed by Ben Stiller. They talk about the Mail Carrier and the Cable Guy!
Ask students: Who are the people in the neighboorhood? (People that you meet each day). Ask them about a mail carrier. A mail carrier is a person who………………..is a person who brings the mail, gets your letter safe to you. Ask them to watch the video and try to answer this question: Who is the letter for?
How about the cable guy? A cable guy is a person who……………fixes your TV.
Well, later Ben comes in a costume of cheese: What? Is cheese a person in the neighboorhood? NOOOOOO! It is a tasty dish. ( :
And the one below is a version sung by Bob Johnson. Explore it with your students! You’ll find the lyrics below!

Oh, oh! Who are the people in the neighborhood? In your neighborhood? In your neighborhood?
Say, Who are the people in the neighborhood? The people that you meet each day!
Oh, a dentist cares for all your teeth,
The top ones and the ones beneath,
So if you have a shaky tooth,
I’ll check it quick, and that’s the truth!
‘Cause the dentist is a person in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood!
Yes, the dentist is a person in your neighborhood, a person that you meet each day!
Oh, a bus driver works hard you know
To take you where you want to go
So if by chance you’re going my way
Well, I’ll see you on my bus one day.
‘Cause the bus driver is a person in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood, in your neighborhood!
And the dentist is a person in your neighborhood! They’re the people that you meet, when you’re walking down the street, they’re the people that you meet each day!
