Audio, Visual, and Kinesthetic Learning Styles
The auditory individuals learn as a result of hearing, verbalizing, and listening.
The visual individuals input information by reading, seeing, picturing, and watching.
Tactual and kinesthetic learners are hands-on learners.
Tactual learners acquire knowledge by feeling, touching, handling, or manipulating.

A learning style is everything that controls how we take in, concentrate on, understand, process, store, remember, and use new information.
A learning style is one’s natural learning strengths and individual gifts.
Analytic and Global Learning Styles
- Analytic learners are sequential, orderly and organized.
- Analytic learners focus on details and formulate their plans.
- Global learners see the broad view or the big picture.
- Global learners use intuitive reasoning,
- Global learners think about all the possibilities.
Concrete learners record information received from their five senses of sight, smell, touch, taste, and hearing.
Concrete learners view things in a tangible, factual and literal way.
Abstract learners prefer studying relationships and unseen ideas.
Abstract learners use intuition and imagination.
Sequential learners organize information in a step by step manner.
Sequentials like logical and linear thinking. Random learners are spontaneous.
Concrete sequential learners are organized, conscientious, orderly, and responsible.
The abstract sequential learners explore the options and gather information. They enjoy logic and reasoning.
Concrete random learners are resourceful, intuitive, and inspiring. They are independent thinkers.
Abstract random prefer an unstructured environment. They are creative.

Multiple Intelligences
Linguistic intelligence is an ability related to the use of words.
Spatial intelligence involves the ability to visualize mental images.
Musical intelligence is related to the ability to play or sing the appropriate tone, rhythm, pitch, and melody.
People with bodily-kinesthetic intelligence are gifted in muscular coordination, reflexes, manual dexterity, flexibility, balance, expressiveness, and endurance.
Logical-mathematical individuals are talented in mathematics and problem solving.
Interpersonal intelligence involves the innate ability to understand people’s thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.
Individuals with intrapersonal intelligence are intuitive and reflective. They make their decisions based upon their own opinions rather than the thoughts of others.
