But here's the first item.

I know that you're kind of eyeing it.

This is maybe one of the dopest speakers that I've seen.

This is the Transparent Speaker, as you see with the name right here.

And kind of like the name implies, just a transparent speaker.

You can actually see me through the glass here.

This is probably a sweet centerpiece for my future house.

So I actually was sent two over.

You can pair them as a stereo pair right and left, but they obviously work as just a one-off speaker.

They're pricey, so they're around $1,100, and the main reason why you would get this is for the design, for the wow factor.

Like, it looks incredible.

This thing is pretty much a conversations piece.

The build quality on this is just next level.

It doesn't have a single touchscreen.

It's all analog, nice and knurled buttons.

It kind of reminds me of the 90s, a bit retro, but still modern.

Maybe a bit like the nothing phones that have come out where you kind of see all the insides, all of the internals.

It's kind of got that timeless design.

It's built out in Sweden design there as well, and it kind of shows.

The actual unit itself is quite heavy.

You can technically wall mount this, but definitely have this lined up to a couple studs because it definitely has some weight to it.

And like I said, the design, the sound quality obviously is next level.

And when I unboxed this, it was an experience in its own.

It actually came with these nice white gloves.

You probably need them so you don't put any fingerprints on the nice gloss.

So I can't wait to pair them.

So I've got one here in the studio, one chilling at home.

And when we move to the new house, hopefully in a couple months, I'm planning to have this in my living room set up.

So like I said, the design, pricey, 1100 bucks.

But if you are someone that likes and likes good design, check these guys out.

They make some awesome, awesome stuff and definitely centerpiece worthy.

So speaking of home setups, a couple of laser TVs, which I always love to test out.

This is the Cosmos Laser 4K TV. You can theoretically take this outside.

It's got this nice little ergonomic handle, but compared to other laser TVs in this form factor, this is actually 4K. It's got 1840 lumens of brightness and gets up to 150 inches.

I would still probably recommend watching all of the content on this, like most laser TVs, unless you have a dedicated short throw one at night.

That's where this really shines.

It's got HDR 10 and the big difference between this, the actual sound output is pretty decent.

So you have Dolby Atmos and you can actually see the speaker grills on the side.

Other 4K laser TVs that I've tested, they tend to sound pretty garbage.

You need to connect it to an external Bluetooth speaker or even a soundbar.

You can get by with a true cinema experience.

Like I'm talking like legit, listening to some good music or a good movie.

You can get by just using this little unit here, which is dope.

It's got some nice controls on the top so you can access the unit without a remote, but of course it comes with the one.

It does have Android TV 10, so you have access to I think over 400,000 apps.

You've got all your streaming sites like Netflix, YouTube, you can watch me with 150 inches in 4K with a laser TV. So this is the first one that I checked out.

And the second one, this one's pretty cool.

This is their Capsule 3 and this is a fun little collab that they did with Transformers.

So the unboxing experience for this is a bit more unique.

Obviously you've got the little Autobots symbol on the front, good old Optimus Prime.

You can see there, the little collab Nebula times Transformers.

And of course inside, this is where it gets kind of special.

As this specific version is limited edition, there's only 4,000 units across the world.

But the actual capsule itself has the really wicked branding.

So you can see here, it's got that dual split.

So it's purple slash pink, really reminds me of Transformers.

Inside you've got the remote, which comes with batteries, which is always nice.

And of course the quick start guide.

But what's nice about this, this is a fully portable unit.

So you can use this on its own without being connected to power.

You've got around two and a half hours of playback.

So just enough for a full length movie.

It is of course a smaller form factor.

So it is still 1080p.

This has 300 lumens of brightness.

So I'd probably recommend watching most of your content at night, but because of its portability, it's great because you can bring it into the backyard at night.

You can watch a movie when you're roasting s'mores by the fire, even when you're out camping, as long as you have connection to watch something.

It's actually a newer device than this.

So this has Android 11 TV. So you can technically watch over 700,000 movies or shows over 7,000 different apps.

It's got Keystone correction and auto-focus.

So just point this at a pretty much flat surface, no matter what angle and it'll just auto-correct.

My typical recommendation, just stick this onto a little mini tripod and orient it to face against a wall.

It's pretty simple.

You can just pretty much have this as a simple little plug and play.

And I think if you're a huge Transformers fan, they actually have a new movie coming out with a pretty iconic Porsche.

I remember seeing the trailer, so I should definitely check that out.

I'll maybe try to watch it on this device, but if you're in the market for two new 4K, of course, and 1080p laser TVs, these are two solid options.

Nice and simple.

So still on some home tech, obviously video games being a huge one.

I haven't talked about some games in a while.

So some of the big ones that I've been playing, the first is Metroid Prime Remastered.

And I was never a Metroid Prime fan.

I never really got into the series, was never really a Samus fan, but I will say this is the best remastered game I've ever seen on any Switch or any Nintendo console.

And being a huge Zelda fan, I am still patiently waiting for like a proper 60 frames Zelda Ocarina of Time or Majora's Mask remastered for the Switch, still agonizingly waiting.

But essentially that's the experience that you're getting for Metroid Prime.

Even compared to some of the newer games like Pokemon Violet, which is weird, which still gets a little bit choppy.

This is one of the best and smoothest experiences that you'll get.

Obviously the graphics aren't up to date with what we currently have, but for a remastered game, if you are a Metroid fan, this is like a must get, like absolutely.

The next game, not necessarily tied to the Xbox, but that's what I'm playing, Hogwarts Legacy.

Like I'm the biggest Harry Potter fan.

Like I just crush the audio books all the time.

This was the most anticipated game for me.

I sadly haven't played as much as I wanted, but in my initial playthrough, I think I'm four or five hours in, I'm sorted into Ravenclaw.

I've made my own custom wand.

The game is just so much fun.

It's like you're a huge Harry Potter fan if you want that open worldness to explore Hogwarts, to explore Hogsmeade, to learn spells, to just interact with the universe, to see what the different common rooms looks like.

This is absolutely the game for you.

It's just tough to play since I've been traveling a lot, but in my limited time here in the studio, and even at home when I'm playing on my Xbox Series S, I try to crush Hogwarts Legacy, like huge HP fan.

And yeah, it's definitely a game I would recommend.

You just got to invest the time into it.

Phones, can't do an episode without them.

So obviously the new ones that have come into the studio in the last little bit, we have these two that I want to check out, technically three.

So of course the new iPhone 14, not technically new, it's just the new colorway.

So of course the new yellow refresh.

If you haven't seen my unboxing for it already, this is I guess your first glance at them.

It's a very light yellow, a bit more on the pastel side.

It's kind of in line with the rest of the iPhone 14 lineup in terms of their colorways.

And of course the yellow rails on the side in aluminum.

This is the exact same yellow as you find, or as you can find on the iPad.

Technically the 10th gen, it doesn't have the home button.

They redesigned it earlier last year in the summer, but that is the same yellow, in case you were wondering, exact same phone.

Nothing's changed.

I would probably take the 14 plus just for that battery life.

The next flagship though, that I want to chat through.

So this is the Oppo Find X6 Pro.

Theoretically on paper, this is some of the best specs of a smartphone.

So it's got a triple camera setup.

You can see how massive this camera sensor is.

It pretty much takes up a third of the phone on the back.

So of course that partnership with Hasselblad that they have, this is a one inch camera sensor, which is massive for a smartphone.

Triple cameras, all 50 megapixels.

So the wide, the ultra wide, as well as the telephoto, all of those are 50 megapixels.

It takes some pretty killer shots.

And this is also the phone with the brightest smartphone display.

So it gets peak nit brightness, 2,500 nits.

So it gets incredibly bright.

But you know, in my initial testing, it feels like a typical Oppo phone.

It's nice, quick and snappy.

It's got the latest internal.

So the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 platform.

It does nicely have a SuperVOOC 100 watt SuperVOOC charger in the box.

I'm looking at those Apple devices, which no longer have any sort of a charging brick.

5,000 milliamp hour battery.

The paper specs on this make it a true flagship.

It just depends if it's available in your region.

And it does sadly still come with a bit of extra bloatware, which you can always kind of get rid of.

And my ideal goal would eventually to see this in some sort of a stock Android.

That's always my recommendation to Oppo when I chat with them.

Just have less bloat.

And I think you've got a solid device.

Speaking of home tech, I had to put something on budget.

Something that I actually bought myself for the studio here, just because I need them.

This is obviously in a affordable price category.

These are just around 30 bucks.

These are just new Belkin extension cords with 12. One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine, 10, 11, 12. And two USB-A and one USB-C port.

It's just a kind of time that my studio needed an upgrade.

I'll just be using these until I moved to the house, but kind of essential pieces of home tech that you need, not really too glamorous, but of course I will leave a link just along with everything else that we've talked about today down below and just solid extension cord power outlets if you need them.

And last but not least, home tech.

I always have to include some Lego in.

So actually next to my transparent speaker at home, I have this Man United kit.

I wanna talk about this experience that I had.

Obviously you can see that I'm rocking a jersey here.

So I went to a Snapdragon Insiders, Manchester United game as Snapdragon is a sponsor of Manchester United.

I actually went with this phone, the Galaxy S23 Ultra.

Of course it's got the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip inside.

Such an incredible experience.

I had like the most fun, obviously being a Man United supporter since I've been a kid.

Like I grew up in the 90s watching gigs, schools, Beckham.

I got my kit signed by the entire first team.

I'm now trying to find a frame to have that plaque somewhere since it just means so much to me.

And on Sunday we got to see the actual match against Southampton.

They didn't tell us that two of us would be kicking PKs at halftime, just drawn from a hat.

My name was picked first and I won't lie to you, like I was so effing nervous.

I didn't want to smash the ball over the net.

I didn't wanna miss.

A mascot was a net.

Like I couldn't live with myself if the Man United mascot like saved my PK. So I just calmly side-footed it in.

Didn't wanna slip since I was just wearing my sneakers.

Incredible, incredible experience to have done that.

Good by bringing it back to the Lego because I stare at that Man United kit or that Man United build like every day going from the Man United Lego set to the real thing.

Yeah, just truly incredible.

And obviously Lego just being a big part of my life.

My next build, I think I have the Razor Crest.

That's a UCS collector.

Is that home tech?

I don't know.

I just wanted to share that experience.
