  • I really don't think I'm gonna pass.
  • All right, I'm ready to go pick up my results.
  • Ah!
  • Jamie, Jamie, the envelope!
  • I'm gonna cry.
  • Hey guys.
  • It's Rosie and welcome back to my channel.
  • So the day has finally come.
  • Tomorrow I get my GCSE end of year exam results and I am so nervous.
  • It is a joke.
  • Like you don't even understand how nervous I am.
  • Let me do a little explaining for you guys.
  • So for the people who don't know what GCSEs are, they are the end of year exams that you have at the end of high school when you're about 15 or 16 years old.
  • I've just done mine in July and I'm now getting my results tomorrow morning at eight o'clock and I'm so scared because I really don't think I'm gonna pass.
  • So these GCSEs, they probably don't seem that bad because it's like an end of year test, but these tests determine whether I get into the college that I want to go to.
  • That is a big thing for me because I had my heart set on a social media creative college, but the course actually got shut down about three days ago before my results because their budget was too high.
  • But anyway, I've been looking and I found a few colleges that I want to go to, but in order to go to them colleges, I need to get the right result.
  • Because I had my heart set on this other college, which I didn't need as good results for, I didn't try as hard as I could have done.
  • So obviously I did try hard on my exams, but only for the subjects that I actually liked, as in textiles, English, and drama.
  • And that leaves science and maths, which as I've told all of you multiple times, I am not good at, I don't like, but now I'm regretting it because I need 40 points.
  • And in order to do that, I need to get a four in maths, English, and science.
  • And I don't think I'm gonna get a four in science and maths.
  • So tomorrow I will be taking you guys with me to my school to pick up my results.
  • I'll be opening them on camera with you guys.
  • And I just need to get a four in maths and a four in English.
  • I will definitely get a five or a six in English because I'm actually good at English.
  • I won't fail English, but I haven't passed any of my maths tests that I've done.
  • I've been getting threes.
  • And in order to pass, I need a four.
  • I don't know if I'm going to get that pass or not in maths, but I really, really need it.
  • And I did try hard on maths, but I'm just not that clever at it.
  • So anyway, guys, before we get on with this video, don't forget to subscribe to my channel, click that notification bell and stay tuned all the way to the end.
  • Because as I said, I'm opening these results on camera and I could cry.
  • I could be so happy.
  • I just don't know what I'm gonna do.
  • I'm so scared.
  • Like literally, it's currently like 7 p.m.
  • Right now in England and I am so scared.
  • Let's try not to focus on that.
  • I need to choose an outfit to wear tomorrow because I feel like if, at least like if I'm crying, if I have a nice outfit, then I'll still look good if I fail.
  • But then if I pass, then I'll also look good and I'll feel good.
  • So I need to pick out a nice outfit.
  • So White Fox actually sent me a little package and they sent me this outfit, which I think is perfect for tomorrow.
  • Because at the moment it's actually quite hot in England.
  • It's just this nice blue top.
  • It is their comfort collection.
  • And then it comes with a pair of shorts.
  • And I think I'm gonna wear this tomorrow.
  • So let me just tell you like the layout of what's gonna happen tomorrow.
  • So at about 7.40, I'm going to get to school and then eight o'clock, I'm going to pick up my results.
  • And then I'll be opening my results on camera with you guys, with my friend, my mom and dad there.
  • And I'm just really scared for that.
  • After I've got my results, if I get good results or bad results, I need to go up to the college that I want to go to.
  • And I need to give them my results and tell them that I would like to go here.
  • Here's my results.
  • I think I'll see you guys in the morning because I have nothing else to do today.
  • Morning everybody, I've just woke up.
  • The time is currently 7.07.
  • I get my results at eight o'clock.
  • I get my results at eight o'clock.
  • I'm literally so scared.
  • Oh, I really don't think I'm gonna pass.
  • I need to get myself ready.
  • I have an hour and I need to do my makeup.
  • I need to get dressed.
  • Then we need to go and pick up my results.
  • So I'm now doing my makeup, but last night I went out with some of my friends and I was informed that the grade boundaries are actually higher, which basically means the rate of passing is lower.
  • So less people will pass.
  • And obviously I'm in bottom set.
  • So the first people that aren't gonna pass are the bottom set ones.
  • Very, very scared now.
  • If I pass maths, I swear to you, I don't even care about anything else now.
  • If I pass maths, I'm gonna be the happiest girl in the whole entire world.
  • Just gonna put some concealer under my eyes and just on all of my dark little spots.
  • Okay,
  • Guys, I'm in my outfit now and I'm all ready.
  • I'm gonna go downstairs and have breakfast and then I'll see you guys in the car.
  • Mom's got me some balloons.
  • Rosie's results day.
  • I feel more nervous than I've ever felt before.
  • I don't think I've been this nervous for anything.
  • Not going on the Ellen show, not going out on stage, nothing.
  • Guys, I'm in the car now.
  • I'm on my way to pick up my results and I'm so nervous.
  • I'm with Romeo and mom and dad and we're all going.
  • But I think I'm gonna bring them back into the car and then open them in the car.
  • So then it's just our little circle.
  • So then if I start crying, I'm not in front of everybody.
  • I'm literally about to cry.
  • How are you feeling?
  • Oh my God, I'm so scared.
  • We said we was giving out my ones.
  • We said we was giving out our results.
  • Ah!
  • Shy me?
  • Shy me in the air for love?
  • I'm gonna cry.
  • All right.
  • All right, so there's the instructions of what I need to do.
  • Mm
  • -hmm.
  • So, after that traumatic moment, I'm now enrolling into college.
  • And I'm with Lilz.
  • Lily done really well, which was good.
  • And she's already enrolled in sixth form.
  • So she's got into that sixth form, which is really good.
  • But then she's gonna apply here with me as well.
  • I do not think it's fair at all.
  • Guys,
  • This has been a really, really emotional day.
  • But I've just got my student ID. They just took it now.
  • I've asked them if I can get it done again.
  • Guys, my phone is dead, so it's currently on charge.
  • We've just got a McDonald's.
  • It's not dead now, is it?
  • It's not dead now.
  • So guys, let's just have a little recap of what's gone on.
  • So, as you saw, I went to have a little look around the college and that was really fun.
  • And I'm really happy with the college.
  • I need to tell you guys about my exams because I came on here ages ago and I said, guys, I'm going to be passing all my exams and stuff like that.
  • And well, frankly, I actually failed three of my exams and I passed four, which I'm really proud about because they are good grades, but I did fail three.
  • And one of them was maths.
  • The grade boundary was I needed to get 147 points and I did not, which is a bit annoying.
  • I got a three.
  • I was eight points away from grade four and I got 139 points.
  • I got a three in business because there is maths in business and I do not know any of the maths stuff in business.
  • And then I got a three, three in science.
  • So that is what I failed, but then I passed textiles.
  • I got a five in textiles.
  • I got a four in English language and was one mark away from a five.
  • I got a five in English literature and I got a six in drama.
  • So one of the last videos you probably would have seen me is when I was like, I was crying and literally my mum was trying to film my good reaction and we literally said, I said, I know I'm not going to pass because my grades are just,
  • I'm just not academic at all.
  • As you can tell, all the stuff that I passed is all practical and creative, like English, creative writing, drama, practical, textiles, practical, the rest I just cannot do.
  • But at this point, doing, balancing my work with school is such a hard thing, especially I've been doing it since I was five years old.
  • So to even be able to do my GCSEs and pass some of them, I'm very, very happy.
  • So I'm really, really happy with my grades, but not passing maths didn't stop me from getting into my college that I wanted to go to.
  • And, well, I got into my college and I'm a college girly now.
  • I do have to do two hours of maths a week, but I will be retaking maths in November, which is really good.
  • But I'm a student,
  • I'm so excited.
  • Well, to lighten up the mood, they did say I can film.
  • I literally have my taster day next week.
  • So I might even film that, or I'll probably film the first day just instead, so that I can just get a feel of it without you guys.
  • But I'll be filming my first day.
  • And I did want to just say this to you guys.
  • I could have just lied and said I passed everything, but I wanted to tell you guys exactly what I got because I know some of you, this year has been like literally the hardest since COVID and the grade boundaries are really high.
  • So I just wanted you guys to know you are not alone.
  • I failed too.
  • And even if I did, I'm retaking it because I do want the grade, but there's always other options.
  • Literally, your personality matters more than a number.
  • So as long as you are proud of your grades, as long as you pass, it's great.
  • Obviously to some of you, my grades may not be good because you may be getting sixes, sevens, eights and nines.
  • But I personally am not academic at all.
  • I've never liked school.
  • I've never been good at school.
  • I've never been good at spelling.
  • So even to just pass four of the subject, of my seven subjects is amazing.
  • And I'm so proud of myself.
  • So I will see you when I'm getting ready for the party.
  • Okay guys, so I'm getting ready for the party now.
  • It is currently half five.
  • It starts at seven, but I'm going around early as per to help set up.
  • I have straightened my hair because I just wanted it straight.
  • And then I'm just going to add a bit of like highlight onto my cheeks.
  • So I'm just going to like zoom in a bit.
  • Cause you know what?
  • Even if I haven't done so well, I can still look nice.
  • But you know what, to be honest, I have done well and I'm really, really proud of myself.
  • It's just, I'm not that good at maths and I've never been good at maths.
  • I'm not a mathematician, but what I am is I am Rosie and maths cannot define me.
  • And neither can my GCSEs.
  • Guys, I'm here with Lilz, waiting for people to arrive.
  • It's half seven now.
  • Party started at seven.
  • So people will come around.
  • People will come around at like eight, probably.
  • Oh no, we've got doughnuts.
  • This is my outfit.
  • This is my shorts.
  • Nobody's really wearing jeans, but you know, I'm feeling different.
  • Cause obviously I failed.
