  • Introduction to Video Content
  • In the fourth part of the series 'Saving Giraffes', a team is preparing for the final stage of their mission. Six giraffes are being transported across the Nile, split into three groups. To keep the giraffes distracted during the journey, the rangers cover the truck with delicious leaves. The specially prepared vehicle was made possible by the generous donations of hundreds of people from around the world. The team is determined to ensure the safe release of the giraffes, as they understand the importance of their conservation. Murchison Falls witnesses a never-seen-before event as the giraffes experience the world from an elevated perspective. The convoy, carrying this precious cargo, moves slowly due to the delicate nature of the operation. To help the giraffes maintain their stability, bars have been placed between them. Despite the risk of being licked by their giant tongues, eight men accompany the giraffes to ensure their safety. As the journey continues, they encounter an obstacle that neither the truck nor the giraffes can cross without help - the Nile. This majestic river stretches over six and a half thousand kilometers, flowing through Sudan and Egypt before reaching the sea. Fortunately, a calmer section of the river provides a crossing point for a ferry. Julian and Steph's years of dedication and hard work are rewarded as the giraffes make their way across the river, creating an extraordinary sight. It is crucial that everything goes smoothly, as any mishap would be disastrous. The team counts the giraffes and realizes Melbourne is missing. However, Melbourne soon appears, confidently leading the way and checking out the surroundings.
