  • Introduction to Video Content
  • In this VR 360 video, we explore a remote valley of thermal springs in Russia's vast wilderness. Discovered less than 80 years ago, this snowy landscape can only be accessed by helicopter. As we approach the boiling vents, the snow begins to melt, revealing rich vegetation below. This vegetation serves as a valuable food source for the brown bears that inhabit this area. Weighing an impressive 300 kilos, these bears are powerful creatures with sharp claws. The geothermal activity in this region creates rich feeding grounds, which are available earlier in the season compared to surrounding areas. However, venturing near the hot springs is not without risk, as one wrong step can prove fatal. Despite the dangers, the abundance of food in this area has led to a high density of brown bears, making it one of the most populated areas for these creatures in the world. It is advised to avoid being out in the open here, as the bears can be aggressive if they feel threatened. In our observation, one bear seems to have noticed our presence. These bears are among the largest land predators, with some males weighing up to 700 kilograms. Fortunately, they are known to be tolerant of both humans and other bears. Join us on this immersive VR journey as we witness the majesty of these incredible animals in their natural habitat.
