Now, for the last 48, 72 hours, the amount of content that I've been seeing flooding the Internet and kind of gauging whether it's been real or not has actually been testing my abilities.

OK, so I think this is a pretty serious issue.

Now, I'm one of those guys that I'll tell you a million times right now.

OK, always, always fact check and always go through like hundreds of different sources.

It might take you six times more to process what is going on in the world around you, but at least you'll be knowledgeable, right?

Like, that's pretty much what it comes down to.

Getting all your facts and your information from one source is never healthy.

You know where I learned that?

The fucking first grade.

OK, that's where teachers and like instructors always told me, don't just believe everything you read on Wikipedia.

Make sure you click on the little source button on it and confirm that as well.

So that's something that's been ingrained into my head forever.

And it's one of the reasons why I'm really apprehensive when it comes to just believing stuff wholesale on the Internet.

But now we live in a world of artificial intelligence where you can make AI say some really wacky stuff.

Now, ladies and gentlemen, I remember covering some of these scams on YouTube where we just show up in like community notes all the time, just actual like scams straight up, easily identifiable.

This, ladies and gentlemen, kind of blew my mind away with how well the generative AI was doing.

You know, we've seen artificial intelligence when it comes to like recreating faces and voices in their infancy, and we laughed at it.

Right.

But even back then, I was ready to tell you the shit advances really fast in what what what is like two months of AI advancements almost feels like years of development.

This is actually pretty damn good.

As sad as it sounds now, obviously, I think anybody can still tell this is artificial intelligence, obviously, but I think for somebody who's older, somebody who's not technologically savvy or somebody that is just not as terminally online as people like us are probably may actually fall for this scam.

Yeah, this isn't entirely new.

And Mr. Beast isn't the only one to get this treatment.

Joe Rogan also has deepfake scams as well, too.

In fact, the earliest one showed up around February 13th, where they started taking like clips of his podcast, putting just basically generating his audio and then overlaying Amazon apps for like penis pills.

And obviously that was a scam.

Joe Rogan wouldn't be advertising it.

At least I wouldn't think so.

And because of all of that, because of how much it would spread, Joe Rogan started DMCA in clips, which is exactly why I'm not showing it on my channel.

But to understand this problem started right here.

And it is incredibly scary with how viral some of this stuff can go, because even if scams get stomped out in like 48 hours, the reality is they've already still laid some financial like they've they've probably made some money off of the scam,

Off of some rube clicking on it within that 48 hour period.

Now, one of the next things that I wanted to look at was actually something that was embarrassing, and it harkens back to the first minute of this video.

One of one of the friends of the show, Turkey Tom here posted this screenshot.

Can't wait to see his take where he took a basically he took a video from Charlie, a fellow friend of the channel to close friend, good guy and inspect element to the title to call it massive Israel drama.

Now, of course, if you don't know what's been going on or you've been living under a rock, there's been a bit of tensions that have risen to their absolute peak right now between Israel and Palestine.

And it's not looking good.

In fact, if anything, it could spill over into the world itself.

Now, I'm not an expert.

So that's as far as I'm ever going to talk on this topic.

If you want to actually learn more, please research online, check various sources and get the full picture and the full story.

This was so wild because it showed just how many people were so brain rotten that they couldn't take five seconds.

I'm saying five seconds.

OK, to go on YouTube like so go to YouTube dot com, go to the search bar, type in massive Israel, like just type that in.

They wouldn't even type this in and manage to see that this video never actually existed at all.

If anything, all it does is route you to like safe news sources that YouTube has already put up in the algorithm.

But again, people believed it for no reason.

So what I just did right there, those five seconds is what some of these people on this social media platform X, formerly known as Twitter, would not spend doing.

They would just run with the narrative and just paint the paint Charlie in a bad light.

Now, to show you this is so easily done, sadly, that you could just highlight any video, like, for instance, on my channel, this video titled Don't buy the new iPhone 15 because it doesn't have like a thumbnail that shows the Apple logo in it.

In fact, it just shows me with bad bed hair.

All you have to do is basically highlight the title.

Right click, hit inspect in any of your browsers.

And where it shows you this white text over here, you can replace this with what people do I. Hey, there you go.

And all of a sudden, somebody can highlight the screenshot and share and make it look like, wow, Mujahar just hates certain groups of people.

Wow, that's not really right of him.

Nowhere was that ever there.

Nowhere is that the intention of the video.

But again, you can fake something in record time and easily spread a narrative.

And by the time you respond to it or correct the situation, people have already spread and made it viral.

People have already spread a false narrative of you and called it a day, which is why, like when it comes to any time I read messages or look at images, I always, always am paranoid because I know exactly how to fake it.

And that's why, because I know exactly how to fake it and how easy you can fake something, believing anything I see on the Internet becomes 10 times harder.

Now, it's really wild is even the richest guy in the world, Elon Musk, is not free from spreading misinformation because of that conflict I mentioned earlier.

He basically told people to follow two accounts that could give you on the ground reporting, because that's apparently what X is all about on the ground reporting better than the mainstream news services.

He actually links one accounts known as war monitors, which, by the way, says some wild things, but also post some actual misinformation where this account actually posted this back a few months ago,

From what I understand, where they said breaking the explosion occurred near the Pentagon in the United States.

Now, this is a pretty big piece of news.

OK, the Pentagon, for those of you don't know, is like ground zeroes for U.S. like military intelligence and shit.

If for an explosion to happen over there would be like internet intergalactic news, OK, would spread that far.

But of course, not all images like this one here are exactly real.

In the world of generative AI and mid journey and all that crap, anybody can make any image they want.

And generally, most people will look at it and say, wow, it has to be real.

That's the Pentagon.

That's the explosion.

How could this be fake?

Now, ladies and gentlemen, by actually using our eyeballs and a bit of our brains, the fences that they actually showed you, if you look at it with a closer glance, looks real fake.

So you got an actual fence slowly, but surely shape shifting between our eyeballs into what appears to be this like chain link, almost security fence design.

Obviously, when you can look at the cracks, and especially when you look at the windows and the design on buildings.

Yeah, this stuff can be really, really easy to point out.

But again, for the average person who doesn't know what they're looking at or the telltale signs of generative AI, they'll just share this image around and pretend that it's real.

And in record time, hundreds of thousands, if not millions of people will share it to other social media services.

And even if you try to counter it, it becomes a giant pissing match between two sides.

Remember, people who make fake news like this, fake generative prompts and share it around are literally doing it to send a narrative or make a new narrative or something of that nature.

And even if you try to counter and tell people that it's fake or it's AI, they'll just think you're a shill or a dumbass.

OK, there's no winning with people that are so ingrained into believing whatever narrative they want to be real.

Even video games are not immune from this situation.

This clip over here of a helicopter basically firing off counter flares and getting shot at and actually exploding at in the sky.

Falling like so is not real.

This, ladies and gentlemen, if you look at the way that that plane model falls without breaking into a billion pieces, is actually from a game known as Arma 3, a game that came back when I was literally just starting out my channel.

Yes, a game that old.

It looks great when you crank it up to maximum settings, but it's a great showcase as to what happens when you don't actually look past the headline or try to prove if even the video you're watching is real.

Now, before this was community noted and fact checked by these little blurbs, there were tons of people that sat down and believed this.

They were cheering on, thinking that this was a real act of warfare when it was literally just carefully designed propaganda to make one side look inferior or weak.

Now, of course, in the future, video games can even be used beyond just Arma 3. Remember a couple of months back when I looked at this game called Unrecord?

Yeah, for some people who are like, wait, this is a game.

Yeah, this is actually a video game made on Unreal Engine five, where the character has a body cam, like a body cam, like a viewpoint.

And they're basically running around.

So all that, like all of this, like movement, all of this, like judder is literally designed to replicate a body cam.

Characters are running away.

They're aiming their gun in a relatively realistic fashion.

And if you got rid of the UI, somebody who doesn't know anything about video gaming could believe this is an actual like police body cam.

So even with games like GTA six, they're going to drop in the next 15 years.

I'm sure with the AI in that game and the visuals, it could be used to recreate some police brutality scenarios or something really messed up.

And they could actually use that and spread weird narratives with video games and actual game engines.

You don't even need to make a video game.

You could actually just make renders in Unreal and call it a day, too.

People will just believe anything they see on the Internet.

And if they don't know the telltale signs of at least video game rendering engines, then they'll probably believe this to be real footage.

I know that some people watching this video, I'm sure I hope most of you people watching this video will think every example I showed you is really easy to spot out.

And that's where we're speaking at from a lot of bias.

OK, we know what to look for.

The average person does not.

And over the next couple of years, the prompts, the AIs that people are using to generate these false narratives are only going to get worse.

So, yeah, is there a silver lining at the end of this?

Ladies and gentlemen, all we can really hope is to constantly be educating ourselves and to constantly be fact checking and using multiple sources to come to a conclusion, because this is a world where information is everywhere.

The truth is everywhere.

It's just the truth is absolutely caked on with a million narratives, a million different pieces of false evidences sitting around.

So it's really up to you to sift through all of that crap just to find the actual truth.

Wild situation, ladies and gentlemen.

But this has kind of been brewing for the last couple of days.

And I really wanted to talk about it because I really do think this is going to be a huge problem this year, the next several years.

And honestly, till the end of the human species.
