  • Introduction to Video Content
  • Diablo 4 Has a SECRET COW LEVEL!In the world of Diablo 4, players have stumbled upon a highly anticipated secret - the cow level. Although it hasn't been officially announced, dataminers like Datamine ARPG have discovered clues and hints about this hidden quest. With the help of their findings, we can delve into the details of this exciting discovery.Credit must be given where it is due, and Datamine ARPG has been a reliable source of news and information about Diablo 4. It's important to mention that this article is based on their insights, and you can find a link to their breakdown in the pinned comment below.According to Datamine ARPG, the extracted code from the game hints at a hidden quest named 'Unknown.' This quest leads to a secret cellar, where players can find three relics and a key. Wowhead, a reputable gaming website, has also done some research on this matter, and their breakdown can be found in the same link as Datamine ARPG's.Let's take a closer look at the three relics: the bloody wooden shard, the musty tomb, and the intricate metallic fragment. Fans of Diablo 2 will recognize these items as significant clues to the existence of the old cow level. The wooden shard, with its inscription 'W,' is believed to be a remnant of Wurtz Lake. The musty tomb bears a striking resemblance to the empty tomb of town portal, while the metallic fragment could be a remnant of the Herodric Cube.In Diablo 2, players needed these three relics to open the secret cow level in the difficulty level they had completed the game. It seems that Diablo 4 might be revisiting this iconic feature, but only time will tell if the cow level will be as delightful and challenging as its predecessor.Stay tuned as more information unfolds about Diablo 4's secret cow level. The journey to uncover its mysteries has just begun, and players are eagerly awaiting the opportunity to explore this hidden realm. Could this be another memorable addition to the Diablo franchise? Only time will tell, but for now, the hype is real!
  • Subtitles section
  • This is an exciting one.
  • The race for the cow level is on the cow level.
  • That's right.
  • In Diablo four has been found.
  • Well, I mean, maybe not found.
  • It's been datamined, but there's supposed to be a few items you need in order to open the cow level.
  • And some of those items are now being found.
  • So let's break down what's going on.
  • First thing is credit where credit is due.
  • I follow this gentleman on Twitter.
  • His name is Datamine ARPG.
  • He has been a good source of news and information for me, and I will be using his information today, which means in the pin comment is where I typically put my links.
  • You can scroll down to the pin comment.
  • You can click on the link and you can read all this for yourself if you prefer a text format over me breaking it down.
  • In his breakdown, he says he's extracted code from the game that says there is a hidden quest called Unknown.
  • And this quest provides us with useful information about a secret cellar, three relics and a key.
  • It looks like Wowhead has also been working on this.
  • So credit to Wowhead as well.
  • We will put a link directly to them in order to show their breakdown of this as well in the same spot with this gentleman's breakdown.
  • And if you look here, Relic one, bloody wooden shard, Relic two, musty tomb, Relic three, an intricate metallic fragment.
  • So in the backstory here, if you're familiar with Diablo two, these three relics heavily hint towards the old cow level.
  • The wooden shard inscribed with the letter W is likely a remnant of Wurtz Lake.
  • The musty tomb resembles an empty tomb of town portal, and the metallic fragment may be a remnant of the Herodric Cube.
  • All of these items were necessary to open the secret cow level in the difficulty that the player had beaten the game.
  • So we have references, basically multiple references to the old cow level.
  • Now, I myself have seen this in game.
  • There is multiple oxen type of statues here in the pools.
  • And if you actually go here, there is an image that says the oxen gods stand as a guardian to the sacred fount.
  • It is said that one who presents a worthy offering cleansed in these waters may gain their blessing.
  • What is interesting, however, is only the oxen god of the east actually says this when you click on him.
  • And there's an old tablet lying in the water that says the crumbling stone is a few discernible words spill their blood to be deemed worthy.
  • Now, we don't know what that means, but we do know from the data mine that all three of these relics are droppable in game.
  • They say specifically they're supposed to have a 5% drop chance, but it's unclear what you actually have to kill for that 5% drop chance.
  • You have to keep in mind this is data mine.
  • So they're getting little fragments of code and they're trying to basically translate that code to understand what is going on, which is why we get like there's a 5% drop chance.
  • But who knows from what?
  • The current belief is that if you cleanse these relics, you will get a strange key, which is also a quest item.
  • It says a large metal key, though it appears ordinary.
  • You feel that some kind of power and the key has a C on it, maybe a C for cow level.
  • Now, if you go to the east, which is the same as the oxen god that will actually tell you to cleanse it.
  • You'll see there is an actual spot on the map that not only the map itself sort of looks a little bit like a cow if you outline it.
  • OK, but then on top of it, there are literal cows in the game right there.
  • And there is a door that seemingly might be able to be open.
  • You can't click on, interact with it, et cetera.
  • But the theory is that you can effectively use this key to open the door.
  • And there's a secret cellar.
  • The secret cellar, a cellar has been found to be called the Forlorn Hovel, which basically they say means like a sad, lonely rundown and neglected place, which does kind of look like this.
  • Now, there is a little bit of disclaimers where they say they can't confirm the fact that, you know, cow enemies actually exist other than the ones you can actually kill these, by the way.
  • I've tried killing them.
  • I've got no drops.
  • There is no actual 100% proof is what they say is a disclaimer, as the only thing we have is basically the information provided here so far.
  • However, from my understanding, someone's already got the Wurtzleg item is what I've been hearing through the grapevine.
  • But other than just rumors, it's still not known to how to obtain the three relics.
  • So if you're asking the actual dataminers, the one that's looking into it, they still are unsure.
  • The dataminer takes a shot at it, says in Diablo 2, we had to beat the game on specific difficulty before being able to open the portal, the secret cow level in that same difficulty.
  • Diablo 4 operates differently in defeating the echo of Lilith is incredibly challenging.
  • Could defeating the echo be a prerequisite to enable the relic drops?
  • It's a good point.
  • It could be.
  • We don't know.
  • It's datamined.
  • Now, if you just look up cow level on Twitter, you're going to see all kinds of people taking potshots at this, trying to figure out here's Icy Veins talking about it, Diablo 4 news, IGN is talking about it.
  • There's people everywhere talking about the cow level, how to get into it and how to figure it out.
  • Also thought this is really funny that the actual area with the cows, you can sort of make it look like a cow if you draw on it.
  • And if you look on Reddit, you'll find there's actually a discord as well where people are attempting to hunt down the cow level.
  • I will have a link to all this stuff in case you're interested in joining the chase as well.
  • From my understanding, there's a lot of people working like a lot of hours to try to find this thing already.
  • It's sort of surprising to me with this amount of information that's out there that hasn't been found yet.
  • In other news, Diablo 4 has passed six hundred and sixty six million in global sales in the first five days alone.
  • So if you're wondering how big the game is, the game is massive, which means there's a lot of players that can figure this out.
  • When that information comes out, this channel will be talking about the cow level, the purposes of doing it and any news that's coming out.
  • So consider subscribing to see that.
  • That's about it for the video, however, see on the live stream.
