  • Flowdrolic, a shop located in Kamloops, British Columbia, received an e-axle from E-Axle for testing purposes. The shop in Kamloops is even larger than their Ontario location. The plan is to gather information from the testing and ensure that the e-axle is properly configured and compatible with their computer system before installing it in a truck.E-Axle has worked in collaboration with Flowdrolic to build their own controls for the e-axle. Therefore, it is crucial for Flowdrolic to confirm that everything works as intended and conduct thorough testing before the installation process begins. The e-axle has been dropped off at Flowdrolic, and it will be shipped to Ontario for testing at their large testing PDU facility. The testing and refining process is estimated to take about a week, and by the end of June, E-Axle hopes to have all the necessary data and a refined computer program. While the testing is underway, E-Axle will be working on mounting two axles into a truck. Once the testing is complete, Flowdrolic will ship back the fully programmed and ready-to-go e-axle. In July, Flowdrolic will visit E-Axle's shop to commission the installation and provide assistance.Everyone involved is excited about the progress and the prospect of seeing all the components come together smoothly. With any luck, the collaboration between E-Axle and Flowdrolic will yield positive results and contribute to the advancement of e-axle technology.

  • Whoa, their shop here is bigger than their shop in Ontario.
  • So we're just pulling up to Flowdrolic for the first time in Kamloops.
  • Gonna give Flowdrolic one of our e-axles so they can do some testing on it.
  • So we're gonna send it off, get all the information from testing and get them to hook it up and we'll get the data on how these axles do before we even put it in a truck.
  • At least they're gonna configure it and make sure our computer system works.
  • That's also one of the main ones, test to make sure our computer system works before we all install it on the truck.
  • It's a Flowdrolic computer system or it's the one that came with it?
  • No, it's the one we worked with Flowdrolic to help build.
  • We're not, yeah, it's totally our own controls on this.
  • So Flowdrolic is gonna make sure it works, works the way we want it to, do the testing.
  • And yeah, before it installs, we gotta make sure, so.
  • I bet they're pretty excited to get their hands on this for the first time.
  • Oh yeah, we better go in there.
  • Go bug them.
  • All right, we just got that axle dropped off here at Flowdrolic.
  • It's gonna take about a week to ship it to Ontario.
  • That's where their large testing PDU facility is.
  • So we can get it all tested and hopefully by the end of June, we'll have all that data.
  • We'll have it refined.
  • We'll have our computer program, just everything figured out while they're doing that and working on that one axle we dropped off.
  • We'll be mounting these two axles into the truck.
  • They'll just ship it all back, all programmed, ready to go.
  • They'll come over here in our month back in July.
  • They'll be at our shop to commission it, give us a hand.
  • And yeah, it's exciting.
  • It's really cool to see all these parts moving, flowing, coming together with any luck.
  • We'll meet our deadline of September, fingers crossed, but it's going well.
  • I cannot thank Flowdrolic enough for the help here.
