  • Homies for life, and making all the meals for their fellow crewmates.

  • Things aren't all fun and games though, because an ominous shadow lurks behind our heroes.
  • This isn't the first time we'll see the imposter, as it visits every other crewmate.
  • The Skeld's captain is doing everything besides the one job he was given, but I respect a true gamer.
  • Meanwhile, a few other friends sign their lives away via a legal waiver, while the imposter tracks him down.

  • On the new website, we're told this is a show about teamwork and betrayal.
  • Members of your crew have been replaced by an alien shapeshifter intent on causing confusion, sabotaging the ship, and killing everyone.

  • Now, what are my first impressions for all of this so far?

  • Perfect.
  • No complaints here.
  • The animation is incredibly faithful to the source material, feeling more like in game cutscenes than anything else.
  • The music is spacey and mysterious, matching the vibe of Among Us.
  • The characters look great!
  • Each color is given their own personality, and it'll be fun to see how they interact.
  • Plus, the threat of the imposter looms over every scene, allowing for a mystery that keeps the crew guessing just as much as the viewer.

  • is really bringing that paranoia feeling from the games with a flair of fun comedy on the side.
  • And if you didn't know, the man at the top of the project is Owen Dennis, the creator of Infinity Train.
  • Basically, I have nothing bad to say.
  • The Among Us TV adaptation feels as close to what we could want as possible.
